Have you met the new English teacher for the 10th grade? Maybe you haven’t met him, but you’ve probably heard him scream from his classroom.
Mr. Aidan Graham moved from Miami, Florida, to Greenville, South Carolina, to become part of the CCES community. He described the CCES English department as “very nice”. He is originally from New York, but has lived in Japan, Pakistan, Miami, and Ireland. Since he lived in the north, he pronounces “pecan” as “puh-con”. Mr. Graham attended Colorado College, and he played football, wrestling, and lacrosse.
In addition to being an English teacher, he also has a family, a 2-year-old daughter, and a wife. He enjoys spending time with his family during the holidays. While he doesn’t listen to Taylor Swift, he thinks “She represents a 6-year-old, a 12-year-old, an 18-year-old, or a 40-year-old. My sister in law took her daughter to a Taylor Swift concert, and that was such a special moment.”
While Mr. Graham doesn’t have any pets due to moving around so much, he finds animals cute.
The CCES community is very grateful to have him play the role of the new English teacher for the 10th grade. A quote from a sophomore is, “I’ve never thought that my English class could be so fun before.” Another sophomore said, “He makes class very entertaining, and there is a lot of class discussion.”
