Behind the leadership of Head Coach Zachary Idris, the sophomore-junior team defeated the freshmen-senior team 14-7 in an epic powderpuff football battle.

The sophomore-junior team struck first with a long opening drive that resulted in a touchdown. On the ensuing kickoff, freshman Emmy Dickerson had a great run, setting the freshmen-senior team up with great field position. Freshman Tariney Pepper took the next play to the house with a run for over twenty yards and a touchdown. The score would stay tied at 7 going into halftime.

Sophomore-junior starting quarterback Paula Pieper threw a touchdown pass in the second half to give her team the lead. The sophomore-junior team would hold on to this lead for the remainder of the game behind strong defensive play.
