False Alarm

CCES students fled from the Upper School today during third period as the fire alarm sounded.  Students in each class asked, “Is this a drill?” Faculty, as clueless as the students, were only able to respond with a resounding “No.” Students and faculty then exited the building for the parking lot only to be greeted by a downpour of chilly rain. After a long, brutal fifteen minutes in the frigid outdoors, Mrs. Beckrich announced the building had been cleared. It wasn’t until the students reentered the building that they discovered the fire alarm had been hit accidentally in the kitchen.
