This week, high school seniors across the nation are committing to the next step in their education and, ultimately, their future. Last Friday, the seniors at Christ Church shared their decisions with their teachers, family, and friends, who helped them reach this point on a day known as senior signing day. On this day, each senior sports a t-shirt displaying their future school. While some seniors have been committed to a college for months, others spend the week before senior signing day unsure of what shirt they will don. This year in Mr. Zebell’s psychology room, the whiteboard was filled with the colleges that the class of 2017 are representing and the students who are going to each one. As announcements of more decisions trickled in, names were added to the diverse collection. The board reads as follows:
