Club Fair 2016

Students signed up for clubs at the 2016 Club Fair.

The student body at Christ Church is abound with different interests and talents, ranging from photography to football to community service. These hobbies are shown each year at the Upper School Club Fair, an event where students have the opportunity to sign up for a variety of clubs that appeal to them. The clubs are created by students who are passionate about sharing their interests with the school, and each club has its own station with decorated posters and banners.

A significant number of new and intriguing clubs were present this year at the Club Fair such as Police Appreciation Club, CC Chill Club, Harry Potter Club, and Harambe Club. Senior Sophie Temple, one of the founders of Chill Club, describes her club as “a movement to get high schoolers started on a path to Jesus.” Some returning clubs include the Environmental Club, Spanish Club and other foreign culture clubs, and the ever-popular Youth in Government Club.

These clubs will provide new learning opportunities as well as a chance for students to make friendships with their peers outside the classroom setting or across grade levels.
