A majority of Christ Church students prepared for a hoedown yesterday instead of the usual preppy Christ Church dress. Although most students dressed in their country outfits, many others chose to show their classy side , dressing in their country club best. Teachers joined in on the fun as well; Father Richard came to chapel in his country attire! The karaoke was continued on Wednesday and all the students in earshot of the lunch room were entertained by their classmates’ attempts to sing. The freshmen and sophomores struggled to send somebody up for the dress competition, but eventually were represented. Juniors performed a short skit involving a dear and a hunter. However, the seniors stole the show with a skit of a ceremony at a country club that was interrupted by a few country folk and their country songs. They sang while playing a guitar, a hand drum, and a watering can.
