It has been over a month since I have touched base with the Christ Church community about the most important thing in our world today–Fantasy Football. I am sure YOU are wondering how my season is shaking out ever since I presented YOU with my tips. I has a record of 4-4 today, with playoff contention still well within reach. However, the group of guys I am doing it with is nothing like it was at the beginning of the season. Today, therefore, I will explain and grade the moves I have made since that faithful day.
September 25th
I give: Juan Jennings
I receive: Jerome Ford
Grade- B+
After Juan Jennings exploded for 47 points in absence of Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, I moved him to receive Jerome Ford. Ford bolstered my running back core for the next three weeks while Jennings immediately returned to mediocrity. I believe I could have been able to turn this into more value if I had simply paired Jennings with another starter.
October 8th
I give: A.J. Brown, Jordan Addison
I receive: Devontae Adams, Kareem Hunt, Justin Fields
Grade- B
While AJ Brown has proven to be a top receiver, the buzz around Adams at this time made him an easy buy candidate. I also received a very serviceable QB and runningback in this move.
I give: CJ Stroud, Zamir White
I receive: Tank Dell
Grade- A-
Since this deal, Dell has been an absolute mainstay on my team and a consistent option. Considering I traded a bag on chips for him, I would say this deal has panned out well for me.
October 16th
I give: Davantae Adams, Ladd McConkey, Kareem Hunt
I receive: Aaron Jones, Kirk Cousins, Bucky Irving, Garrett Wilson
Grade- C
I do wish I had kept Kareem Hunt through the season, but I do not think this trade hurt me in any terrible way. I believe that Garrett Wilson was an important piece for me to have this year, as it led me to an outstanding trade.
October 22nd
I give: Romeo Doubs, Bucky Irving, Isaiah Pacheco
I receive: Khalil Shakir, Josh Allen
Grade- A-
Another good deal. Josh Allen has been balling these last few weeks and I can honestly say that no one I gave away would be starting for me today. I also received Shakir, who does actually start for me, which is good.
I give: Garrett Wilson
I receive: DK Metcalf, David Njoku
Grade- A
I selfishly love this deal for me. Njoku balled out for me, and I have been winning even without Metcalf.
Nov 7th
I give- David Njoku
I receive- Ladd McConkey
Unfortunately, Njoku began to hold my team back as TJ Hockenson returns from IR. I believe this trade is too early to grade, but I think it provides me with a great flex option in the upcoming weeks.
I also traded Caleb Williams for Dontavion Wicks. But that didn’’t matter. So I do not want to grade it.
This concludes the moves I have made. Since beginning this update I have lost another week and have fallen to 4-5. This puts me in a position where I must win out the rest of the season in order to have a chance at the playoffs. With this in mind, I must keep grinding to become better and better.
