Varsity Football performed under the Saturday Night Lights in a rescheduled win over Carolina. After bad weather left the first home game of the Cavs’ season moved to Saturday night, you could feel a whole new level of anticipation as the Cavs took the field. Ryan Johnsen established an early connection with Arun Chandler, who had a dominant showing. The defense produced turnover after turnover, leaving Carolina Academy scrambling. The Cavs picked up the 39-8 win and look to carry this momentum into next week’s game against Southside.
