Two Lady Cavaliers Named to All-State

Becoming a successful high school athlete takes a tremendous amount of time, perseverance, and work ethic. On February 15th, the South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association announced the South Carolina All-State basketball teams for each division. The AA girls team includes two Lady Cavs, Lawren Cook and Bailey Breazeale. Cook is averaging 12 points and 10 rebounds per game so far this season while Breazeale is averaging 13 points and 6 rebounds per game. Both players have led the Cavs to a third straight Upper State championship. The Cavs defeated Andrew Jackson High School today at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena 63-25. Cook and Breazeale helped lead the lady Cavs to a 25-2 overall record and a perfect 10-0 record in the region during the regular season.
