Boys Varsity Soccer

The Christ Church boys’ soccer currently sits at a team record of (15-2) as they prepare for their final game at home against Mauldin on May 8. The boys are coached by David Wilcox and led by senior Austin Rackley and junior goalie Michael Batson.

After their game against Mauldin, the Cavaliers hope to continue the momentum they have gained in the regular season into the playoffs. The Cavaliers expect to earn a high seed as they have suffered only two losses on the season, both to rival St. Joseph’s. The first loss was at St. Joseph’s in penalty kicks 3-1, and the second loss was at home 2-0. The boys are unsure of who they will play in the first round but will play on May 13 and most likely at home. The Cavaliers are hoping to win the thirteenth 1A state championship in school history and the first since 2011 this year but will have to get through St. Joseph’s before they do.
