The Cavaliers finished the season strong with a second place finish in region.  The girls finished with a 13-2 record with their only two losses being against region champs St. Josephs. The girls had many impressive wins this year including a 10-0 win against Greenville High and a dominating performance against Greenville Tech Charter in which they won 25-3.  The team was lead this year by seniors Kathleen Benedict, Kate Heil, and Kristin Farrar.  In the Cavaliers’ two losses to the number 1 ranked St. Josephs, the girls lost a competitive game at St. Josephs 2-9, then in an even more competitive game the girls lost 5-11. In these two losses they proved that they can play with the best and are ready for a run to the state championship. The Cavaliers played Whitmire in the first round of the playoffs and won with a score of 10-2.  The girls finished the season as district runner-ups and had one of their best seasons ever.
