The boys tennis team has had a rebuilding year this year, after losing star senior Thomas Johnson last year. Earlier in the season, Coach Austel was asked about how their year looked and he said,”we just have to believe in ourselves”. The team is led by seniors Tyler Hardy, Haigen Mirando, and number one player Hayes Sherman. Although they lost a match to powerhouse JL Mann on April 23 they are undefeated in the region heading into playoffs. The team’s final record was 9-1, and they continued through the playoffs to win the State Championship.
