Messy, creative, and colorful are three different words that you can use to describe the work of the CCES students during this fall semester. Walking into the art room, you could feel the tension as all the students worked patiently on their fragile pieces. Their project was to create ceramics pieces such as bowls or plates, with some sort animal incorporated within them. This project gave the students a variety of options to choose from, some ranged from birds to fish. With each piece that the students did, you could see their different touch or personality emerge. This is one reason why ceramics is something truly beautiful, you can make each piece your own. As the year progresses, these students will learn how to personalize each piece, and their work will become more unique.
